Depending on when the tour hits your city: Don't be too excited.

Neither of them is contracted for the entire tour. While they certainly (should) would have the opportunity to extend, I wouldn't count on it.

Last I heard, Kyle's contract is longer than Blake's, but that was before anything was signed and I do not know what the final result was.

I would see them in Boston, when the tour is coming at the end of April. If I don't see them, eh, I'll try to catch the show in NYC this summer.

Why would a tour mean the b'way run is closing? No, there is not a closing date for SA on B'way.

Replacements are already in rehearsal, but they have not officially been announced.

They are and have been hiring replacements for the last of the original cast members that are leaving mid-July. (Except for Gerard Canonico.)

To the Boston poster: unless there are major changes, don't expect either of the to make it to Beantown.

Dramamama, where is your source? The tour hasn't even opened yet, so who's to say what will happen. Maybe they won't make it to Boston, so what? The point of this thread was to mention they'd be involved with the tour.

Blake is an amazing, amazing Moritz. He's grown so much in the role, and is really giving a wonderful performance.

That said, I think Johnny was just stronger in the role. Both vocally and acting wise.

I haven't seen Kyle yet.

Woooo! I didn't really think that Blake would be inclined to doing a tour since he's such a huge gigantic supastar and all, but I was still hoping all along that he would. :)

They don't come often, but on days like this I'm so glad I'm a San Franciscan.

The Curran itself doesn't have a set rush policy-- the show itself will determine it. Hopefully it makes sense, although I foresee all sorts of rush line craziness no matter what.
