I was just on IBDB and was looking at Mr. Kind's Broadway appearances and I noticed this:
Once he stepped into the role of Foxwell J. Sly/The Judge in Sly Fox on August 17 2004, the show closed August 22.
And once he stepped into the role of Andre in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels on Aug 3 2006, the show closed September 3rd.
Coincidence?

Its only coincidence.
I mean you can say anything's a curse.
There's the supposed MTV-Reality Show-Couple curse: Most of the couples from those shows [Nick and Jessica, Dave and Carmen] slipt after doing their reality shows.

I thought you were wondering if He curses.
I hear he does and I saw him in Bed Bath and Beyond the other day.
Maybe that will close down also.

I do remember thinking about the Jennifer Jason Leigh curse.
She was going into Cabaret when it was at the Kit Kat Club and that day scaffolding collapsed on the street and they closed the street for weeks forcing the show to transfer to Studio 54.
A few years later if I remember correctly her first performance in PROOF was September 11, 2001.

Surprised that you didn't mention how he took over the part of the husband in "The Tale of the Allergist's Wife" and IT closed.
And how he visited his 99 year old grandfather in the hospital and his grandfather DIED...

B3TA07 beat me to it, I was gonna say Bounce too.
It's very clear this man has the devil inside. He should be exorcised before being cast in anything else. If anyone sees him, please direct him to the Church Of Alexyss.
