Wow, Metcalf on Broadway 3 seasons in a row! Aren't we lucky!
Also: correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this first time in quite a while that Mantello has directed a revival? He seems to prefer original work. When was the last one? Pal Joey? If so, it will have been 10 years.

We're lucky Glenda Jackson has returned to the craft of acting, but I'd like to see her sign onto some film projects so a wider audience can experience her.

That's a little different though, since Joe directed the original Off-Broadway production as well, and with "half" of the cast being the same.

I love the play and I have always wanted to see Vanessa Redgrave playing A. But Glenda Jackson is an excellent choice, she was phenomenal in Lear.

I admit I had the exact same thought! Neither actress is what I'd consider tall. Metcalf is 5'7" and Jackson 5'6" (according to a quick Google).
