Has anyone rushed this? Where are the seats located?

Seaview Planning Cat on a Hot Tin Roof Broadway Revival Directed by Sam Gold

I'm glad we are finally getting a Tennessee Williams play on Broadway this decade, last one was pre-pandemic with Rose Tattoo, right?

I love this play and never seen on stage before, hope the cast is good, but this title has not been lucky on Broadway in the last productions.

And I hope they receive a special Tony instead of the ludicrous category placement that the Oliviers did.

I really love the TV show and I'm looking forward to see this one, will wait until I see all 4 nominees before picking a favorite.

But yes, I think all 4 acting awards + Directing are going to revival shows.

Hope Max Clayton gets a nom!

This just may took PUNCH out of Best Play category, but I believe the winner still is either LIBERATION or GIANT, leaning to Giant because it's open even tho Liberation most likely it's our Pulitzer winner.

Marylouise Burke also may get a Tony nom, but don't know if she can beat Metcalf or Emond.

trying to see this on my may trip.

also wondering, will Byrne/Ohara get in for best actress?

Feels like we have 4 locks (Manville, Coon, Flood and Metcalf) and one slot for a running production and it's between Ayo, Kelli and Rose.

I have this show for my last slot on the may trip but will wait on reviews and tony noms, may switch to something else.

TITANÍQUE Review - 1 Minute Critic
 Apr 13 2026, 12:23:33 PM

I'm seeing this on the Monday before the nominations come out because there's basically no other show on Monday.

We recently had this show in Brazil, it was good, my kind of humor, so I hope this is even more entertaining in english.

Has anyone here rushed this? I heard they are mostly giving box tickets and I think the vision is not that great.

Just a vague question... do they check the ID for 30 under 30 tickets? lol

Unless the industry somehow wants to give some answer to Scott Rudin, with this amount of acclaim and the likely 2 nominations at the same night, Laurie Metcalf is 100% taking.

Who is her biggest competition? Linda Emond? Kara Young?

Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 4/5/26

Really great start for JOE TURNER'S COME AND GONE and PROOF, glad those stars are making the difference.

Also wondering which shows are likely to close from musicals aside from TITANIQUE and BEACHES, I think DEATH BECOMES HER wont be around in 2027.

Certainly, but I don't, maybe if something is changeling TWO STRANGERS, maybe will be SCHMIGADOON? The early word of mouth seems more likely. The amount of criticism to Lost Boys score kinda makes me doubt it could win.

Most of these performances are barely getting noticed tho, the amount of buzz and praise that Alden is having is hard to beat.

On reddit most people believe this is winning Best Musical, haven't seen yet (May 6!), but it doesnt feel like a Best Musical winner of the 2020's

If he's indeed in featured, I think he takes it. Who could beat him? Joshua Boone? Chris Abott? This level of praise is too good to beat.

east side story said: "Well Telecharge has all that info readily available for you, but just yesterday I purchased $99 orchestra seats, row F, on the aisle. They’re not giving tickets away, but there is also a promo code: DOASEARLY"

thank you!

east side story said: "Saw this production this afternoon, and wow. The entire cast was wonderful, especially the core four. They were electric. I hope Metcalf wins Tony #3, and I think she will. Mantello’s direction is sharp. If anyone is on the fence, get tickets now. Plenty of cost-effective options, so don’t miss out on one of this season’s absolute highlights."

Aside from rush, what else would you think its the best cost-effective option?

Given the acclaim you guys did, I just exchange Joe Turner's Come and Gone for this.

I've always thought Alden Ehrenreich was a much better actor than Hollywood made him look, so looking forward to see him.
