I don't doubt that he believes what he says deep down/in a less exaggerated manner but he seems to see everything and pay a lot of attention to details. He constantly quotes lyrical details from shows he apparently hates all the time. He knows them better than most fans I'd guess. He probably owns the FOLLIES pillow. And he was probably the first person to buy tickets for the most recent Sunday revival. I am sure he loves putting on this mask and stirring people up - just as I love watching it. He is a comedian."
Well, at least he's not making asinine, xenophobic, ignorant comments after terrorist attacks or presidential elections. You know what I mean?

I mean are you trying to derail this thread? It's difficult to respond to this kind of political trash the brainwashed regressive left tend to shout here (who are so relatively conservative they belong to right-wing parties by world standards), so all I will do is reiterate that I sleep easy knowing 1. my opinions about religion and the cause of terrorism are shared by intellectual, scientific elites, and 2. my opinions about Bernie vs Hillary ended up probably being right - and thankfully I can sleep easy in a country with a high minimum wage, public healthcare and accessible education - the exact policies I was trying to advocate for in the first place - so there is no need to continue this bitter tirade, and 3. I am so happy and comfortable knowing that I seem to be one of the few people on this board holding truly progressive ideas consistently - whether that be advocating for the most progressive candidates or for criticising middle-aged belief systems and ideas that continue to oppress gay people and women to this day.
Call me ignorant, call me xenophobic, call me whatever. But if there is no substance to your post all I can say is I'm very comfortable with my progressive views and the consistency in my beliefs. It's getting to a point where I wonder why some of you just don't block me if you clearly don't want to actually participate in a discussion but shout the puppet buzz words you've been trained like a dog to recite whenever you hear certain triggers. Now, I will concede I intentionally write in a slightly arrogant way/in a way that is likely to stir some emotions. But I still try to have substance to my post and keep to discussing the actual ideas at hand - I'm not shouting that you are probably a bunch of brainwashed hypocritical regressive leftists who need to stop supporting conservative candidates and conservative ideas - even if I believe it. (Except for this post of course). The childish name calling here is somewhat pushing me over the edge into this territory.
Dudes! That must have been one hell of a fight! Sorry I missed it.
qolbinau, I don't know whether you're a Communist, Shaker, Jungian or secret racist and homophobic. I've been enjoying your posts for years.

You keep telling yourself that, dear. I'm going out today to vote for Jeremy Corbyn's party, who is more of a real progressive than anyone in North American politics.
Yes GavestonPS I like to keep people guessing. Essentially how I live my life is by rolling a dice every morning to determine what ideology I want to support that day and then I go on a rampage - taking breaks every now and then to think about what show my beloved Bernadette Peters should be cast in and making a note to complain that she was robbed of a Tony Nomination for FOLLIES.
For those that don't know the background, it started ever since I had the gall to question whether Hillary Clinton's conservative policies and background was going to be right for the future of the USA and cost her the election (advocating for her opponent, Bernie Sanders) - the dinosaurs of BWW did not take to this too kindly, - nor did they appreciate my "I told you so" post when my predictions eventually came true.
And now, as I continue advocating for progressive ideas against barbaric conservative religious systems (including Christianity and Islam) - primarily confined to the off-topic board - I am once again facing the wrath of the BWW dinosaurs who seemingly do not see the relationship between religious beliefs and homophobia, transphobia, misogyny or terrorism - or worthy of criticism simply for the mere fact that they are completely false.
You know this song attracts criticism here but I can't think of anything more appropriate right now:
"Maybe they should have kept up with the times - well Darwin taught us that's how you survive!"
"Boom! Crash! Here that fearsome sound. BWW archaic dinosaurs that somehow stuck around. They're the pre-historic missing link - slathering their greasy goo on wrinkled hides and faces."
Once they were behemoths with an appetite for blood. Now they're lapping prune juice up like puddles in a mud. Ruthless but as toothless as their raws. They're dinosaurs."
Look, now I am being childish, I don't want it to be like this/I am only joking. I just hope that for the 'haters' I seem to have attracted - when we inevitably disagree in future - we focus on the actual ideas/issue at hand. There is no need to use words like asinine, xenophobia etc..

Not marriage equality, though.
It's true. I bet you'd be able to guess why. Some conservative Australians in power right now think the almighty powerful God in the sky thinks it's immoral. I can't get married because of these ridiculous beliefs. What a life.
