I couldn't sleep last night...

Very clever lyrics! Congrats on that.

I loved the movie...one of the best, if not the best that I've seen this year. Just like with any play/musical that's adapated for the big screen, you gotta check your expectations at the door, and go in with a completely open mind.

When you have such high expectations, and you are disappointed, the only one that you can be disappointed with, is yourself. When your imagination goes into overdrive, it's not always a good thing.

anealb1 - amen. I've seen the film 3 times now and I STILL love it. If anything... I still think/feel it could do without a few songs... like "Guido's Song" and "Take it All". Great songs but I feel this film could have worked without them. I'm one of the rare few that is actually thrilled 90% of the Broadway score was cut. And yes... the last moments of the film still makes me cry.

Thanks for that, BrodyFosse123. "Guido's Song," does slow it down a bit. Marion C is brilliant! The scene of her in the screening room, watching the dailies, is absolutely heartbreaking!
