I posted this on the thread about the distortion, but I am worried it will just get lost with all of the Rent threads. Rob Sher, the album producer really wants the board to know about the distortion issue. It IS an error, and will be fixed.
THERE WERE TRANSCRIPTION ERRORS IN THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS. TIME LIFE IS ADDRESSING THE PROBLEM. THE DISTORTION
IS MINOR. THEY ARE FIXING THE PROBLEM NOW. IT IS NOT IN THE RECORDING ITSELF.
Yes, those are Rob Sher's words. So maybe we are lucky for having the original issues with the distortion now? They could become collectibles, lol. It's good to hear it will be fixed though.

Why is he yelling at me???
I don't know, haha. I just copied and pasted his words.
Crap! Does that mean I have to rebuy another copy? And how would I know if it is the corrected re-release version or if it's the original version???
Oh well, the only time I heard the distortion was during Herbie's parts during "You'll Never Get Away From Me". I don't really hear it anywhere else. And I've been listening to the darn thing nonstop since I got it.

Thank God this was addressed. I have increasingly been losing sleep night after night worrying. And worrying.
What's gonna happen after they fix it? Are they gonna recall all the CDs sold?
I doubt it. It's just a minor issue.

Good to know! Thanks Robert!
Manufacturing process? Would that explain why I can't understand what y'all are bitching about when I listen to my iTunes version?
Brody ftw!
