Now that I’ve seen him sing and dance, I’m really impatient and I need producers and casting agents to get on board, so we can get this man to Broadway. He’d sell some tickets (some) and he’d clearly bring enthusiasm and passion.
I forgot to mention that although I bought all these books today I absolutely can not tell the guy I've sort of started seeing because he has written & published one gay erotica novel that has totally not been a best seller. In his book almost all the characters are tops who tentatively try being versatile but don't enjoy it. Except for one character who declares himself to be a "power bottom" & has issues dealing with how he grew up with money and can just buy whatever he wants, who starts doing lots of drugs and then goes to Berlin and does too much cocaine one night at Berghain & has a heart attack & dies. When I read it I was like WTF is his problem with bottoms? But I kinda don't want to ask.

Before that podcast, I didn't know (actually didn't pay enough attention) to Jacob Tierney's connection with Letterkenny/Shorsey. I loved those shows, and especially the actor Jared Keeso. I own a Letterkenny Shamrocks hockey jersey that I wear only on special occasions so it doesn't get damaged by wear.

That anecdote is cute AF.
Best of luck w/him. I'd keep him for the "quirky" factor alone.
Robbie showed up at a Canucks game last week.

I've finished the first book and started the second, which is the main plot line the series follows. Reading some old threads on Reddit romance books pages, and the first book with the Kip/Scott Hunter story was actually the least popular with the women who were the originally intended audience for these books. For them it is too much of a straight (no pun intended) romance story, while they all want to read things things that are a bit more wrong.
Also this morning woke up to find that some semi anonymous OF vids one of the actors in a bit role in 2 episodes did are starting to spread all over the free gay sites. I get it, it is tough when you're young to make a buck, and sex work often seems easier than waiting tables or something, but long term it can come back haunt you. It's a story as old as Hollywood - I'm thinking about something like the pin-up photos Marilyn Monroe did. At least in retrospect thise look classy compared to a lot of the bad OF content out there.

They're moving fast -- a ticketed parody musical is going to the Laurie Beechman in March. It'll be very interesting to see what happens rightswise here. As a literary agent who reps mainly romance authors (and had licensed a series to Netflix and fought hard to retain stage rights to no avail), I watched the odyssey of The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical with great interest. It was only once Barlow and Bear booked The Kennedy Center for it that Netflix finally pursued action (it was already after they had gotten the Tony win if I recall correctly!) and shut them down. I wonder if Rachel Reid's team will pursue litigation.
