Get well soon!
IF EVER HE WOULD LEAVE US...
Get Better Bob.
Oh no!
Best wishes to him.
Robert Goulet, Robert Goulet, my god- Robert Goulet!
Get well soon.
My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family. Get better soon!
Yes! Get well!
The warm wishes are nice - but this is not a condition that you "get well from" - its a fatal disease. But warm thoughts are certainly with his family and with Bob right now.
They're talking about a lung transplant - very risky but it does give him a chance. Let's hope...
My thoughts and prayers are with Bob and his family.
What a terrible thing to happen. I hope they can move forward soon with the transplant.

I wonder if they find a lung transplant for him if that will increase his chance of survival---or simply delay the inevitable.

Why are we just hearing about this now when he was first hospitalized in September & transferred almost 2 weeks ago?

- Maybe they had family to tell first. Or they wanted to exaughst treatments before they made a public announcement. Prayers go out to him and his family.

As good as dead. Pity. Remember when he locked Carol in the trunk? That's why she became a holy roller christian and he went to aa. What a voice and what a lesson in how to turn your life around.
By the way, he hates being called "Bob". Vera calls him Row-bear, the french way.
Anybody got any good Row-bear stories?

Chicago theatre director Michael Maggio had Cystic Fibrosis in the late 1980's. He had what was at the time a revolutionary double lung transplant. It gave him another ten years of life.
Aww, that's so sad. My thoughts go out to him and his family.
Wasn't he a heavy smoker when he was younger?
The disease actually isn't necessarily related to a person's smoking history.
I understand that. My grandfather had emphysema (sp?) all his life and he never smoked. I'm just curious.
I knew a lovely lady who never smoked that died from this disease. It's a terrible way to go. She hung on for a couple of years. It's so sad to see someone with such a powerful voice have to go through this.
Very sad. Hope he's not in pain.
How unexpected and sad. Hopefully he pulls through, but things look grim.
Hopefully all will turn out OK. Best wishes
