I watched a piece on TV about Rocky by a woman named Tamsen. To an unknowing public, she claimed that it is a hard to get ticket and that it is sold out. I understand the publicity machine trying to drum up buisness but when there are out and out lies, I hate it. Allegedly the show has been losing 100,000- 200,000 a week since previews, the tickets are always on TKTS and TDF and other discount sites. How much was she paid by the producers to lie? I wish all the best for Andy Karl-thought he was superb, but thought that the show was meh. Her reporting gives her zero credibility.
Why would the publicity team want to give people the impression to not bother even trying to go to Rocky, because you can't get a ticket?
Not every bad journalist is doing the work of a publicity team.
Because they think people love it when thy get a ticket to a show that you can't get a ticket to.
Regardless: still doesn't mean the producers had anything to do with her statements.
Let's send them all to bed without their supper. That'll show them.
I thought this would be about the fact that the guy on the poster is way hotter than Andy Karl.
