The preview prices for this are insane
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

I got Tuesday! For a long time, the asterisk was there, and when I clicked through, I got the message that not enough tickets were available. (I had selected one.) But I think more seats got freed up somehow, and I was able to buy two! Thanks for posting. I was NOT intending to see Rocky, but I'll spring for the TDF price.

Maybe the price even for previews is a deterrent.
People have seen the movie.Do they want to shell out Bway prices to see it.Since it has played in Germany how much do they need to fix?

How are preview prices for this show so different than others? I got this direct mail and Bullets and both were $99?

I'd be a little nervous about doing TDF in the Winter Garden. So many opportunities for a crap seat. I bit the bullet and bought with the discount code.

Got two for Tuesday and it is one of the few shows I am looking forward to seeing this spring. The thing with TDF is you have to go on a few times a day in order to catch new additions. The cost is half what the fliers wanted, so I had to jump. It worked in Germany and I feel it will be a hit here, especially at the Winter Garden. I haven't been in that theatre since Mama Mia was in previews more than a decade ago.

Hopefully the seats are not crappy.
I saw Mamma Mia there in previews also and I remember my mezz seat was the last row, and still a great seat.

So we are supposed to get a Nor'easter here in NJ/PA all day Thursday. I have a feeling the trains won't be running and I won't be able to get up to NY.
Do you think TDF would do anything if the show is not cancelled?

Given the fact there will be very few changes between Hamburg and NYC they are going to use a 3 week preview period for tech (it's not easy to spin a boxing ring) and then the last few days for critics previews. I've got 2 Golden Circle tickets for March 12, the night before the opening. I figure they will have worked out any kinks in the show by then. I cannot wait!!

I have tickets the same night (not TDF) and I'm getting a little nervous too.

You pick them up the day of and you'll find out the seats when you get them. Read the warning that the seats may be crappola.

Getting in will be tough. Getting out will be... impossible maybe? It's supposed to be snow all day Thursday with the really bad blowy stuff coming Thursday night.
If that happens, call the box office. They will usually let you exchange your tickets for another night. TeleCharge usually posts these notices on their site. Check the show website during the day as well.
Or, get a hotel room and enjoy the city blanketed in snow!
