As good a reason as any, in my book.

I'd go with the Encores! BABES IN ARMS, for a couple of reasons, although I worked on the score for both concerts. The first reason is that JQ and the Bandits act as a chorus for the 1988 concert, and their arrangements have less to do with 1937 and more to do with 1950s doowap. The second reason is that n 1988 the scores and parts were taken from the 1986 Library of Congress restoration by John McGlinn, and he was incapable of properly reading a score. It wasn't until 1998 that everything on BABES IN ARMS was finally cleaned up. Some of the wrong notes in the 1988 recording of "You Are So Fair" make me cringe.

OlBlueEyes, I'm pretty sure that is new audio for the clip of Christine, Rebecca and Debbie singing "Sing For Your Supper." For one thing, it sounds different than the original recording, and second, I'd be surprised if they would hire Christine Ebersole to lip-synch to another singer.

Of course you are correct.

But I think that the arrangement is the same.
