CBS has not done well by our Broadway actors in the past few years. Lots of promises and activity, but very little in the way of solid longevity for a series.
They don't seem to know how to use these actors, and it is too bad. I wish Roger well in this and hope it takes off. On the other hand, I always miss seeing these actors on stage here in NYC when they are doing a long running series (e.g. Victor Garber, Ron Rifkin, John Lithgow)...but the money is better for a TV show (unless you are pulling in really big bucks on Broadway, and so few are)
