I really disliked this play. It was full of cliche and, unfortunately, fairly amateurish writing and acting. It's an important global topic and it's a pitty the play is so boring I spent most of the time going "oh who CARES?" even though it is life and death for the main character.
First act was a bore, but it set up the second act to soar. The second act saved the entire thing. Explosive. With that said, I wouldn’t recommend this show to anyone. It was truly just ok.
I guess I am in a minority here. I thought the acting was very strong across the boards. I also liked the staging which I found to be very fluid. The script may never win any awards, but it held my interest and the scenes moved along with a sense of urgency which I appreciated. I think the director has a bright future. Kudos to the stage design. it was one play that could have used a tad more exposition.
