I did not find a thread on this, if there is one, my apologies for those who will start to attack me because of it.

But was very pleased to view and find out info on Romance & Cigarettes, I hope it does well and get a soundtrack!

Oh, that ship has sailed-- and sunk. The studio dumped it completely, and director John Turturro attempted to pay for a release himself. Just mostly vanished from sight.

And now the DVD release is STILL listed as "unknown." (Very sad, especially considering the original release was supposedly Dec 2005.)

Being Dumped...Kate was on THE VIEW this morning promoting her new movie which was Romance and Cigarettes. I think it will becoming to theaters soon. That is the impression I got from THE VIEW interview.

She just talked about on the The View? I was wondering what the status of this film was. Humm...it's too bad that it's had so many pitfalls.

Its 33% rating ("a karaoke nightmare") on Rotten Tomatoes probably isn't helping matters.

I really want to see this one, but it ain't gonna be easy 'til they finally announce a DVD date. (Though it's already on DVD in the UK, if you have a multi-region DVD player and wanna order it online from there)
