Well it's not hurting anyone for me to assume he will be nominated so I don't see the problem. It wont hurt my feelings if he doesn't!

Since you don't know who will receive nominations, you probably shouldn't assume.
.... says the person who only minutes before posted, "If Leslie gets in the supporting category, no one will beat him." that is also an assumption (in case you didn't know).

I would be seriously shocked if Daveed was not nominated... SHOCKED!! I would love Chris to be nominated as well, but I certainly feel that Daveed is a given. Time will tell!!

My gosh, I hope they are all nominated! Chris, Daveed, Okieriete, Anthony. All so brilliant in their respective roles!

As wonderful as they all are, I personally hope that not all of them get nominated, so we can nominate actors like Gavin Creel, Adam Kantor, and Billy Porter for the fine performances they are giving in their shows.
But that's besides the point-I'm very excited, Rory will be amazing!
I KNOW this doesn't belong on this thread, but since I started it, I'm going to chance the wrath.... but do you guys think LMM will be nominated for Leading Actor? I assume he will be nominated and win for the writing, but will they give him a nomination in the acting category as well? It's a crowded category.

I'm glad someone remembered what this thread was about.

I think he will probably get nominated but it wont be a complete shock if he doesn't.

Whenever he and the part are both free.

I am bummed that I will not see either Judy in Fun Home and John in Hamilton. But you know they are not using big stars. They are using Broadway Vets and good ones in both. It reminds us there are some theaters that have bulls still and they can still do excellent casting rather then who will make easy money.

Can someone please explain to me why they call him Groffsauce. I've seen him twice both in Spring awakening and Hamilton and he spits all over the first few rows. I was personally drenched once!I am presuming this is the reason
shouldnt they call him Groffspit!!

Lin seems to have started it and it has nothing to do with that

It was called Partners. And let's not forget his very white bit part in the Dreamgirls movie!

Be grateful—I don't think you realize how many other fans would kill to have this happen to them!
