Ditto word for word.

She did have to sing her butt off, etc, to audition. Someone saw something in her. She was picked for a reason and I'm sure it's got to be there--these casting directors are professional...
....sometimes casting directors mess up ....but we'll ignore that 'cause I'm not skeptic as of this moment that Dawson's performance will be sub-par...(I mean, nothing tells me it shouldn't be good and I see no reason to judge right now...)

Kangaroo - Actually I own the CD too (blush), and I checked - at the end, it credits Josie's voice as being Kay Hanley, but doesn't say anything about Rosario or Tara. Under the song listing, it says each song is performed by "Josie and the Pussycats". I'm still pretty sure the other two didn't sing (that was the word on the set), but a few people here and Variety beg to differ. *shrug*

Either way, I'm excited to see Rosario in this role!

I'm just going to go and see. I've worried my ass off about this movie and it hasn't changed a thing. Come what may.

I have never seen her in anything. Is she good?

She's definitely got the Mimi "edge". In fact, if I was worried about anything, it would be that she'd be the ball-busting Mimi that would box your ears in and kick you in the head, and maybe cough once in a while, for sickness sake. But who knows. *shrug* It's acting. I won't say I'm *sure* she'll be great, but I've enjoyed her in the few films I've seen her in.
