Roundabout's Spring Musical Revival 2017?

Still one more show to announce for the season and it's normally the slot for their annual spring musical revival. Anyone have any predictions? Wouldn't be surprised if they transferred Sutton Foster in Sweet Charity...

There is already a commercial producer attached to Sweet Charity for its run, so if it does transfer it won't be to another non-profit organization....

No problem. The producer is Kevin McCollum, who also tried out AVENUE Q there years ago. If it all goes well, I could see that revival heading to Broadway as a commercial production.

Last time I spoke with them in June, they claimed Holiday Inn was going to be the only musical this season. 

Not sure if that has changed or could change.

Is there any chance of it being The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas with Chenoweth?

There is another topic but this from a few weeks ago, if you use the search.

In most seasons they only had one new musical per season (new as is in, starting its run, not a new show), so I wouldn't be surprised if Holiday Inn remained the only musical and the last slot would be filled with a play.

Kristin has around 15 concert dates all across the country between January and April. I highly doubt she would have made that many commitments if she was thinking of being on Broadway during this time.

In fact, they just rescheduled one date from early October to January, presumably because of Highspray Live rehearsals (and btw, she did plan ahead on that one, she never had any dates in Oct and Nov except for the one weekend in early Oct, even though most of those concerts were announced weeks and months before the Hairspray announcement... so I think she would have planned ahead on Whorehouse, too!)
