He should totally write one. Not a jukebox musical--although including some of his songs wouldn't be bad--but he should team up with a good book writer and put something together.

I love Rufus. I think he could potenially create a very unique sounding piece. I think that an interesting idea...I like it.
If he did, people might actually be able to understand lyrics to some of songs finally, too!

I think he's incredibly talented. If you listen to "The Art Teacher" it has a sort of theatricality to it, as do most of his songs. I'd love to hear his take on something. I bet it would be oustanding and artistic.
I would love him to write a piece. His music is theatrical and I love his lyrics. I also like the idea of him writing for other voices. I can only take his voice in small doses-his whine grates on me after a while. That being said, I still enjoy him.
