My friend rushed last Saturday and got there at 8:30 a.m. She was third in line. The two people in front of her opted for standing room and purchased that. When my friend's turn came, she was told that the show was sold out, but she was offered two seats in the far left orchestra, in the front, not together, for $57 each. I'm not sure if they were rush seats or not. Rush seats are $50.

How was she offered orchestra seats if the show was sold out? I'm confused. Or was the SRO sold out?

Also arrived right around 8:30 on Saturday and was right behind macnyc's friend in the rush line. (Who was lovely by the way and we enjoyed a long conversation as we waited for tickets.) My companion and I were the first ones in the line looking for the evening performance and we also opted for the $57 partial view seats one in front of the other in the third and fourth row all the way house right. Very little was obstructed and if you get the choice I think sitting House Right would be better than House Left due to the scenic design. It was a great evening!

Hi, BroadwayBeebe! What a coincidence! I'll tell my friend you said hello. We also enjoyed the show very much (the matinee).
I'm wondering if seats on the other side are even sold for $57. They would be partial view also, but since the window is on the left side of the stage, people on the right would be able to see it clearly. We had to guess what was happening, but it was pretty easy to figure out who was coming in or jumping out.

Our Seats were also $57 and we were seated right in front of the desk and could see the window and everything that happened with it clear as day. The only times I had trouble seeing was whenever someone was making an entrance from the door which the desk made hard to see. Overall though I thought they were incredible seats for the price I paid for them.

Any more recent reports? I'm hoping to get standing room and am wondering if this is picking up at all.

Yesterday I went to the box office around 4pm & got two $32 SRO tickets for last night. No line. I didn't ask about rush tickets. Great view standing almost to the right aisle in the center section! I also have to add that standing at the back of the theatre helped at intermission time- even though the intermissions were short, I was able to beat the women's room line so I had plenty of time. Two intermissions also meant I never felt like I was standing for too long at once during the show. A great deal!!

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience. I was thinking I'd have to show up a lot earlier, but I'm glad to read that's proving not to be the case.

Has anyone tried rush seats, partial view seats or standing room recently? Thanks!

I've tried to get standing room a few times shortly before curtain. Every time they offered me a $50 ticket. Last Wednesday I caved and bought it. Row J all the way on the right, completely full view. The play is only ok. If it weren't for Nathan Lane, it wouldn't be worth seeing at all.

Thanks! I suppose the show hasn't sold out recently then. $50 is definitely on the high side for rush pricing...

Hi. Has anyone tried to rush this show recently? Trying to decide if I should buy tickets with the discount code or attempt the rush line and hope to get a cheaper and hopefully better than a rear mezz seat.

I rushed on Thursday, Jan. 5. Got there about 9:45 am. I was the sixth person in line. I bought a single $50 rush ticket. It was located orchestra right -- not all the way over and not even halfway back. A great seat.

I got to the box office around 6:30 PM on Friday (1/13), and standing room was still available.

I got here today at 11:30 and got a rush ticket for the evening. Am sat in my seat (G18 orchestra house right) and it doesn't seem too bad though the curtain is yet to go up so I'm not sure what my view of the set will be like.
