I hate these threads and I hate doing them. But, last time I went into the city during christmas time seeing if I could get a cheap ticket to anything I ended up having to turn around and go back home.
That being said, what do you think my chances are of going to the Broadhurst box office and getting a student rush ticket for Les Miserables for the matinee on thursday?
I do know that i have had no problem doing this at other times in the shows run but now that it is christmas week I don't know.
You think I should get up and be there when the box offices opens up? Or should I just use Broadwabox and get a ticket that way.

Personally, I don't like to go to the city to see a show without already having a ticket. Especially at this time of year. I'm not in the city and it takes more than an hour to get there (as well as the $20 round trip train fare plus $5 parking at the train station). Getting there and having to turn around and go home would be costly for me so I tend not to chance it.

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
I do live just outside the city. But, train tickets are free for me. God bless student train passes that just say good for the 07/08 school year.
But, I want to know if it is going to be worth it.
I am guessing not. The only reason why I want to see Les Miserables thursday afternoon is cus Haviland Stillwell is Fantine.
Should I try or not?

Zilch. They're not offering student rush for the remainder of the run. One of the box office people told me yesterday when I tried to get a rush ticket.
IS THERE any other performances that JUDY KUHN won't be Fantine?! I was going to get tickets to this show but now I won't..I've seen the show 3 times and only going back to see Miss Kuhn & the other new cast members...
Haviland Stilwell had said on her website that the thursday afternoon performance was the last time she will be going on as Fantine.
So, I do think that Judy will be on the rest of the run.
