In Spring Awakening are they actually having sex on stage? I plan on seeing it soon and I was just curious?

No. They are not. it is simulated at the end of Act 1. You know the 2 characters are about to have sex and just a bit of skin is shown.

Well from my view onstage in Sept, I would say they come pretty close. :)

If it makes you that uncomfortable then skip SA. You'll be missing out, but then again you'll be saved the awkwardness.
I want to apologize for some offensive messages posted on this board under my name. The night 0f 12-15-08 I did not have internet access, and someone had used my name to post something offensive. My avatar was also changed. I dont' know what else was posted, or if anyone recieved bad PMs, but I want to apologize for that. Yes. They are 100% having actual intercourse onstage. It's all very method.

you know i really knew NOTHING about hte musical till i went to it.
All i knew is ya'll raved about it so i bought tickets.
I have to admit it was quite a shock.
... course then i went .... Damnit i should have sprunger for the premium seats :)
