The benefit show with Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Bruce Vilanch and the Nat'l. Tour Cast of Hairspray is SOLD OUT. So they've added a second show. The show list of songs are GREAT!

Interesting as they didn't originally advertise the prices and every time I called, they told me they didn't have the information yet. Well, hopefully I can get a ticket to the second show.

Oh believe me I don't hate every Broadway show. And I never called myself a "Broadway fan." Most of the great theater isn't even seen on Broadway. Also it takes very little energy to say bad things about Hairspray...actually to save time if you've noticed I abbreviate names of little importance like MJW. And how doesn't my picture make sense? Does it say somewhere that you have to be a Broadway "fan" in order to post? If so I missed it. I'm a theater lover who happens to have strong feelings about several Broadway shows. I wouldn't call myself a "Broadway fan" but I am a "fan of several shows on Broadway."

I bet Marc would take a show like this on the road if proved to be enjoyable and profitable. Who wouldn't?
