Podium - I do know that parts of the river and the lake freeze close to the shore, but I don't know if it is frozen now. The Marina Towers are fairly close to Gentry. About 6-8 blocks, I think.

BoB - I did not specify musical theatre at all. You did not read my post correctly. I just said talent. But if you think singing on pitch is the only criterion for talent, then it explains a lot. Good news Matty - There is NO ADMISSION CHARGE. You can still attend. They are videotaping it and simulcasting it throughout the club. The seats that are being sold are the ones directly in the cabaret room. You can still be part of the night, hang out with the cast, watch the video screens or for that matter peer into the room from various vantage points in the club and spend very little money.
