SHREK Tour announces new City on the map.

Looks like Dallas is confirmed for the tour, setting the stage there on September 28th-October 17th. Can't wait to see which other cities will be added next!

I'm guessing it will stop somewhere else between Chicago and Dallas. Also, I think Denver announced SHREK awhile ago.

I am amazed that Chicago's dates are July 13-September 5! That is wonderful!

on the Broadway in Chicago website it said July 13, maybe it said June and I misread it! It still is a long time for a tour to stay in one spot.

For larger cities, sometimes shows stay at the venue for an extended period of time. For example, the Jersey Boys tour that recently came to Boston stayed there for about two months.

When the tour was announced in March, it stated that Shrek will begin in Chicago in June 2010

I wonder if the "extensively retooled version of Shrek" being planned for the West End will also be the one used for the tour.

From what I hear, Chris Sieber is going to do it. At least the Chicago production.

Houston hasn't announced its dates, but they have announced that it will be one of the first show of their season.
