What is the status these days? What time are people lining up for tickets?
I got there at about 8:30 AM last Friday. There were a dozen or so in front of me. Shortly before 10, a woman came out and counted the line. It sounded like they had 28 or 29 rush tickets, so she told everyone past that point (only a couple people) that they would not be able to get rush that day. When I saw the show that night, the theater looked pretty full. It seems like they pretty consistently sell out of rush tickets first thing in the morning.

Was there this past Saturday at 7:35am and was 14th in line (for two shows). Line increased steaadily starting around 8:45am. By 9:30 or so, there were 30-40 people there.

If anybody can't/doesn't want to rush so early in the morning, I got a $69 ticket (with the Theatermania/Playbill) discount at the BO, so no fees, and the view was really good. It's technically rear side mezz, but I was only in row F. Even though I was all the way to the side I had a great stage view and didn't miss a thing!
It is very cramped up there though, I had to kinda sit sideways so my legs would fit... (I'm 5'6, but long legs/short torso).

I'm not sure what to do with this show because they're apparently still doing a lot of work on it. Take the chance, get up super early, wait for hours, and pay $40 for partial view rush tickets? Hope that this rumored SRO after previews materializes? Wait until later in the run and hope it shows up at TKTS?

I rushed last Saturday (2nd in line at 6:30am), had partial view tickets that were good, to be honest. Close to the stage, you see all the tapping and footwork. There were a surprising amount of unclaimed seats in the mezz and orchestra (my friend and I ended up sneaking into open seats in the second row) so that might happen for you!
I think it's a worthwhile show to check out.
No, it's pretty much sold out for all of next week from what I could tell on Telecharge...
I know that they offered a rush policy during previews, but are they doing anything now that it's opened?
There was rush yesterday post-opening - seemed pretty similar to what was described in previews. Who knows if there will be an official announcement or anything.
A weird thing - I asked about SRO in the morning and was told they never do this. I showed up for the performance, and there were people standing at all of the SRO spots. Asked the assisted listening device staffer about this, and she said they always have SRO.

Maybe SRO is for friends and family since it is selling so well? Like at Hamilton

I talked to two people who got tickets this morning. Apparently it was $40 for partial view seats? Not sure what's going on but I'm glad to see they have something in place now that previews are over.

I think they quietly offered rush an extra couple days, but it may end soon or have ended today. The box seats that were part of preview rush are listed on the monitor for 160.
I asked the box office today and they will be doing SRO if they sell out.

Anyone know if they are still doing rush tickets? I would really like to see this show on the 28th matinee but I can't afford to pay that much for it. Best advice on getting cheap tickets?

Check out the discount code in the Shuffle Along Reviews thread. I believe it expires tomorrow.
Don't miss SHUFFLE ALONG...it is one of the most exciting musicals this season and once again, Audra is beyond sensational in what she does in it and the choreography is breathtaking.
Here's a discount but believe it expires today 5/2 telechargeoffers.com code: sadmx1016
Front mezzanine: $99
Mid Mezzanine-Rear Mezzanine seats: $75-$55

Was thinking about trying to rush/SRO this Wednesday's (5/4) matinee. Looks like people line up pretty early. Anyone have any experience with the Weds matinee? Telecharge shows it to be pretty well sold with only $99 discounted tix left. Wondering if I should bite the bullet and get one since today is the last day the discount code is valid or give it a shot Weds morning. Also trying to take into account tomorrow morning's Tony nominations which could go either way according to these boards. Thanks in advance!

Hey all -
Quick question about the extreme front side orchestra seats for this show. The only seats available for the date I'm looking at, it seems. Row B Seat 10 and Row B Seat 9 & 11. They are labeled full-price so I can't imagine them being extremely partial view but any insight on them is greatly appreciated.

I sat all the way on the house left side in row b when i saw it. The view was fine but you cant see the dancers feet. Worth it for a rush seat, not worth it for full price...I got it as "modified rush" so it only cost $70
Yes, I was in B6 last night. It was the WORSE seat I've ever had in 40+ years of going to the theater and I paid $169 -- there was no warning that it was partial view (I got my ticket last October). I'm only 5'6" -- maybe if you're tall, it's not an issue. For me, when the performers are at the front of the stage -- you see them from about their knees up. When they're dancing in the center of the stage -- you see them from the waist up. And often -- you only see their heads. I think there was good dancing but I couldn't really tell. At intermission, many of us sitting in row B went to see the manager. He shrugged and said we could stand in the back of the theater in the standing room area. Don't waste your money. You will be better off just getting standing room. He told us that the producers now realize there is a problem but still will not lower the price. I have been looking forward to this for so long and came from Cape Cod to see this. I was so disappointed that I can't even judge the show.
