SINCE WHEN DID NEWSPAPERS START TAKING SIDES WITH SCALPERS?? — Page 2

You folks keep saying that "scalping" is not right. Why is that so? Wicked tickets are a hot commodity. It is simple supply and demand and it certainly isn't extortion that people sell them at the high prices they command. People are clearly willing to pay the price. This is a two way street and obviously there must be people buying them at the premium prices. Quite simply, not everyone is going to be able to get everything they want and this is the free market at work. If you don't want folks scalping tickets, take the issue up with the Producers/Promoters.

At least you got some. Enjoy the show. I'm seriously considering not going back to the Kennedy Center at all, I'm still extremly p/o'ed with them.
