They should go back to the initial artwork from the Atlanta/ Pasadena productions, pictured below.
As far as Patina Miller is concerned, she's an American who received unanimous rave reviews and has helped develop the material for years since the show's initial inception. There's no question she'll be coming to Broadway as part of the transfer.

^ That looks fantastic.
I loved this show in London! I do agree, the male scenes need some tweaking; also, I was not too keen on the show taking place in the 70's; I think the Disco-style songs would be OK in any era.
I am SO excited for this show. I listen to the music daily, it's a wonderful score! I hope this does well!
Oh, God. Zaks is useless.

EMMA ZAKS SHOULD PLAY EVERY ROLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Emma should play Fanny Brice in FUNNY GIRL.
Zaks makes some very revealing comments on his plans for SISTER ACT in the new ATW Downstage Center podcast, all of which seem to be right on the money.
Basically, he says he doesn't plan on making any changes to the score. Instead, he's focusing on implementing a pretty significant overhaul of the book, which he (quite openly) says isn't near where it needs to be in the present London incarnation.
