I just saw it on Amazon VOD. It's is ****ing amazing! Finally, NBC has a show that I want to watch! from RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
Saw the first episode several months ago on a screener. Going to take a look at the first episode online as the screener mentioned that it might not be what the finished episode looks like.
Funny how porgyandbess2011 said "shill" Don't you think someone new to this site should cast stones? How do you know anyone on this board when you have been here about a month?
"I hope your Fanny is bigger than my Peter."
Mary Martin to Ezio Pinza opening night of Fanny.
the best thing about this show are the musical numbers. The plot is banal, the script is horribly predictible and the acting..are you kidding me? Dear Lord. People are going to compare this to GLEE and i don't think there is room for 2 musical theater shows on television.
i just kept fast forwarding to the next musical number to interrupt the boring nature of the show. Theater people will gravitate to it because it's their "world". The regular audience? I dunno. I can see them getting bored by episode 3.
