There is no second female understudy.
After canceling the matinee, they were preparing for the possibility of having to shuffle the songs around amongst the cast, but it ended up not being necessary.
Vanessa Williams went on after all and N'Kenge, the female cover, went on for Erin Mackey.

After seeing the only understudies in the playbill, I was very curious about what would happen if two or more people were out. Barbara Cook, Norm Lewis and Tom Wopat don't have a understudy at all. Glad the show was able to go on.

According to ATC, Dee Hoty is Cook's understudy.

It's a shame they ended up getting this worked out and didn't have to redistribute Williams' numbers. I would have done anything to see Barbara Cook's sexy take on "Ah, But Underneath".

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
