I walked past the Gershwin/Circle marquee today, and had to look twice to even figure out what the words were. I could make out "SOUL" but had to try really hard to even figure out the word "DOCTOR" was underneath it.... and then I vaguely remembered hearing that this is bizarrely transferring this summer. If they want people to know it is there, they need a better sign!! With decent lettering!!
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

I was just going to say that rosscoe. Because the "C" is right in the middle of brightest part of the light it connects the letter making it an "O."
Also, don't forgot you're supposed to be able to read marquees from some distance. That picture looks to be taken from right under the marquee. If someone walking up 8th looks over and can't read it then that's a problem.
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!
In their defense the Circle in the Square has the worst Marquee on Broadway. The Gershwin at least has the marquee on the other side of the street, but that's all Circle in the Square gets. They need to revamp both marquees and make them more..exciting.
