congrats to everyone who got cast!! :)
and no offense steven22, but that was the dumbest statement I have ever heard.
kyle riabko is melchior and blake bashoff is moritz. thats all i know.
im so excited!
So if Bashoff is gone, do we know yet who is going to be his replacement? I know Hunter Parrish was already announced as Melchior, but what about Moritz?
Current understudy, Gerard Canonico, assumes the role on August 4th.
Broadway.com reveals some of the tour cast in the Photo Op. for the departing cast.
Well, here is the official announcement of the entire cast. I think they spelled Christy's last name wrong, because when I Googled it, it made a correction. Anyways:

There's a picture on BWW of Todd Cerveris with Michael Cerveris. Are they brothers?
The whole cast list looks great! I'm so excited for Andy. Can't wait till this comes to my city in the Winter.
They do look like brothers...their head shape is the same.

Yes, they are brothers.
And fun fact, courtesy of the NYT and Google: in 2004 Todd Cerveris was in a mixed-media show called The Booth Variations as Edwin Booth; Michael appeared in the show as well (well, he appeared via video footage) as John Wilkes Booth (which he also played on Broadway that year in the Assassins revival). Todd was one of the writers of the show, and Michael wrote some of the music used.

And I noticed that Angela Reed (Adult Woman) is Michael Cerveris' sister-in-law.
Thanks for confirming that.
I'm so excited to see this show finally when it comes to Cleveland or Pittsburgh.
Yeah, they're brothers. The Spring Awakening Tour Myspace put that as a fun fact in its introduction of the national tour cast.
They also list the cast's favorite music, where they grew up, what they like to eat, whether they use a PC or Mac and lots of other great tidbits to allow fans get to know them better. It's in their latest blog:
