Just an FYI: If anyone was interested in doing Standing Room for GOD OF CARNAGE, it appears tonight's performance is now sold out, and all three performances for the rest of the weekend are on the verge of being sold out (there's only a handful of SINGLE seats -- none together -- left in the rear mezz).
I had no trouble getting the tickets two hours before the performance when I was at the final preview. I'd imagine there might be more competition for the spots now that the reviews are out. Good luck to all that try! It's a faaaabulous show!
do they sell standing room 2 hours to curtain or when the BO opens? and wats the chances that the few seats left will sell out for tomorrows mattine? i want to check this out, especially with the almost unanimous good reviews but already bought a full price ticket for WSS.
Does anyone have more info on standing room for this show? Have they been selling standing room lately? I don't think it's been selling out, but it seems silly to not sell some kind of discounted ticket when there are empty seats in the house.
Discounted tickets for those empty seats, yes, but it is silly to sell Standing room tickets when there are empty seats that can be sold. GOD OF CARNAGE has been at TKTS a lot lately (albeit only 30% off usually) so it seems that standing room isn't a likely option right now.
They do have a discount. http://www.broadwaybox.com/shows/god_of_carnage_nyc_tickets.aspx
And I actually bought tickets for 50% off from TKTS.
I was really looking to pay $26.50, but thanks for the info.
Yeah, I inquired about SRO for a Wednesday evening at 5 and the lady kindly told me to try back at 7 to see if they were sold out by then. I never did, as I went to "Exit the King" instead.

I stopped by the theater a few Wednesdays back and asked if they were sold out, got a response of no, but they still sold me a standing room ticket. I was able to take one of the empty seats in the last row of the orchestra.
I guess it just depends on who's working that day?
There is a guy that works at that BO who has a HUGE attitude so be careful when you go to inquire about it, all I can say is GO GO GO GO see this production! It's the best thing I have seen all season.
Seeing this on Saturday. Along with Exit the King.
Can't wait.
It was sold out today, so they sold standing room. I ended up dead center (SR 107) with a fabulous view. I'm so glad I got to see it, because I loved the show. It was absolutely hilarious, and seeing those four actors on the same stage was quite an experience.
