Hope a US release date will be announced soon. This was the first Broadway show I saw - July 1988. Loved every minute of it. Just so much fun. Was also the first time seeing Jane Krakowski perform, as well. I just remember how stunning she was, in addition to being so talented.

I mean, is STARLIGHT EXPRESS a good musical to begin with. It’s pretty much a proto-JELLICLE BALL, using trains.

I saw it and, although I couldn’t recall a single plot detail or more than 3 songs, I thought it was a visual feast and I enjoyed that vibe for the £32 I paid

It was but the worst was cutting the verses to the title song, dismal.
