The Celebrity Baby Blog is reporting that Renee Elise Goldberry, late of "The Color Purple," has miscarried her baby. Apparently this was reported in Soap Opera Weekly, which does not post their articles online. My condolences to her and her husband.

Awww! I just LOVE Renee. I am a huge fan of One Life to Live and of this talented woman. Got to meet her and spend a little time with her at a fan event. She is every bit as sweet and kind as she is gifted. My thoughts are with her and her husband. How sad.

I just saw her in TCP last Saturday. She was my favorite part. I loved OUR PRAYER.

I remember when my mom miscarried my little sibling. Very sad. It helped a little bit when my mom siad the baby's name is "Blessing" and we will see him/her again someday. I don't know how anyone can say that an unborn baby is just a blob of tissue. My thoughts and prayers go out to her.
