Sally Bowles wig

I remember in the 98 revival that (it appeared) that Natasha Richardson didn't wear a wig, or if she did she remained blonde, but for every Sally on broadway after that, they wore the classic bob wig. Does anyone know why, or if Michelle Williams will wear a wig? Seems like maybe a silly topic but i'm just curious :)

They al didn't wear bob wigs. Joely Fisher, Lea Thompson, Andrea McArdle (on tour) used their own hair, Susan Egan also used her real hair but it was cut and colored in the dark bob

I seem to recall the reviewer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer commenting on Terri Fisher's very not-period streaked hair when the first national tour came through, so I'm assuming she wasn't wearing a wig either.
