Sara Ramirez birthday at stage door

At the stage door of Spamalot last night, after a few of the cast had come out to sign, Alan Tudyk came out and instead of signing right away, he announced, Ladies and Gentlemen, Miss Sara Ramirez, and out comes Sara in her Tony dress...lol. The crowd went crazy. Then we all sang happy birthday to her. She said she turned the big 3-0. I actually was right on front of her when we sang so I was able to video the whole thing on my digital camera. When the part with her name came in she looked at Alan and laughed. I assume because most of the crowd said her name wrong. I then said to her that's the Tony dress right and she said yeah, did you recognize it from me keep pulling it up...lol. I took a pic with her and it's a cool shot as instead of a posed smile it's a pic of her actually laughing. DHP kept chuckling everytime he looked over at her. Also heard Condoleeza Rice was there. The woman next to me was sitting near her and got her autograph. Said she was very nice.

Thats funny, though if the dress obviously made you uncomfortable the first time don't ever wear it agian. Anyone else think it was a little too revealing for the Tonys.

Now as i guy, im not complaining!!!!!

I haven't uploaded my pictures yet but when I do I will put it in my fan photos so you can see it. Putting a picture in here is too complicated. I have a few of just her in the dress, but they didn't come out as good. And I'll put the picture of her laughing in it. Drakh, I think you are the guy who took the picture for me. Thanks!

I don't think it was too revealing for the Tonys, I just don't think she had the poise to pull it off. "*yank!*"

Anyways. That's amazing that you got to meet her and experience that. I'm jealous!

I think it was a pretty dress... and she looked great. Now, only if she hadn't yanked on national tv, but that is her own decision. I think people should just leave it alone...

I have no idea how to post a video on this site or any site for that matter...lol. I'm not even sure about a picture but I will at least put the pics on my fan photos and then post a note. I'd be happy to email the video to anyone interested. Just pm me with your email address. Might be easier. I know to post a picture you need a host photo site or something. Wish you could just attach it.
I've actually met her a few times at the stage door and she has always been extremely nice, but this night was extra cool.

I have uploaded a few pics from the stage door on my fan photos. I didn't get too many shots as I mostly recorded video when she was near me. I did get a few more distant shots, one of her whole dress but from behind. My avatar is the one I like with both of us laughing.
