Sarah is SO cute and she really is the nicest person to ever come in contact with. Very outgoing and sweet! And she DID look great last night.

I have always been a hardcore GAP and J Crew girl. Even when the going gets tough, I always try desperately to find something to wear. Those two stores make up my entire wardrobe--aside from AE (My friend worked there over the summer, and I got like 45% off, so I went a little crazy.)

Anyone who thinks SJP is ugly, has absolutely no sense of what is beautiful. If you find the silicone breasted, cheek implanted, collegen lipped little diva's beautiful, then I agree, she doesn't fit the standard of beauty.

She may not have a perfect face but, that's what gives her beauty. The imperfect face is always more interesting than the reconstructed, plastic version. Her bright smile, sparkling eyes, grace and fun personality make her more beautiful than most other actresses. If you ever have the pleasure to spend some time with her in person, you would be bowled over by her.

This one kid said I looked/acted like how she does on "Sex and the City" and though I don't see how, I thoguh it was darned cool!

This woman is adorable, and not just physically. SHe IS pretty in a quirky way, but her presence is just what makes her the cutest. In the "...Mattress" recording she even SOUNDS cute. And her and Matthew Broderick are one of the CUTEST stage/screen couples ever.
PS: I love her fashion sense, on and off "Sex..."!

I love SJP. She is so beautiful and is without a doubt the best dressed woman in Hollywood. Not to mention she is extremly talented.

Personally, I think she is adorable. She isn't conventionally pretty, but the way she carries herself is really beautiful. She is always pretty well spoken and she is so happy every interview you can't help but love her. She dresses to kill, too. You can't beat that.

I absolutely adore SJP. She is so classy and elegant, well spoken and just seems so GENUINE which is more than most celebs can say. I think that she is beautiful too, especially since she has such a different look to her. I give her a lot of credit, coming from an unstable background to really make something of herself. Does anyone miss Sex and the City terribly like me?

Nina, clearly I respect what you are saying, but it is unrealistic to think everyone is going to find SJP attractive, or that finding her unnattractive means you don't appreciate true beauty. While I think our country in particular has a seriously distorted idea of beauty, it still does lie in the eye of the beholder. While personally I think fake boobs, lips, butss, etc are not only unnattractive, but pathetic as well, you have to repect people who do think they are beautiful. Same goes for SJP. Thinking that she is unattractive doesn't mean you have no sense of what is beautiful. It means you have a different sense of what is beautiful. I for one think unique looks are much more beautiful. Diversity in my opinion is gorgeous. I still don't think SJP is that attractive physically.... and I don't think that makes me narrow minded. Think of how boring our world would be if everyone liked the same thing.
She seems like she has a wonderful spirit which is truly the more important issue. I did hear that she can be difficult to work with, but I think the people were referring to her extreme dedication and being a perfectionist. And honestly thats a good thing. She clearly loves her family which is more beautiful than any physical attribute ever could be.

Shesings, I don't really expect that everyone will find her attractive. I was reacting to the very strong negative statements. It's one thing to say "I don't find her attractive." As you did. that's reasonable. It's completely another thing to say "She's ugly and has a face like a horse."

When I hear statements like that, it just gets to me because there is so much more that makes a person beautiful other than the current standards of physical beauty. I just assume when someone makes statements like that, the person is judging based on some unrealistic images created, much of the time, by surgery. I've just always felt that grace and personality go a long way in making someone appear more beautiful than they may be physically.

I think you misunderstood the meaning behind my words becasue when I read your post, we're basically saying the same thing. I just have a tendency to say it a little stronger.

Nina, understood! I guess I took offense b/c I thought my initail statement was percieved as being too harsh. I really didn't mean it to be. I'm glad we both agree though how sad the plastic surgery phenomenon has become!

While facially, she's not conventionally pretty, you can tell that she's a genuine and sincere person.

Plus, regardless of her face, her body was meant for high-end fashion, and I don't think a single person in modern pop culture can wear the clothes she does and pull it off with such aplomb. She's got an edgy-glam look that makes her really versatile.

I miss Sex and the City. (BTW, what's the name of Patricia Field's boutique in NYC, and what are the prices like?)

Patricia Field! Its on West Broadway in Soho. The prices actually aren't outrageous and there is a salon in the back, with plenty of drag queen employees for amusement! Last time I stopped in Patricia herself was there! Fun times.

Lately, my friend Kyle and I have been using "SJP" as a verb. ya know like... "you're SJP'ing it today" when one of us is being SJP-fashion-like... it's a lot of fun. Just thought i'd share. :)
