Ohh, I agree! Sally in Cabaret sounds like a great role for her.
I love Sarah to death. She really is so talented!

Posted: 7/15/04 at 4:47pmI just read on Broadway.com that she is rumored to be in Little Women. We all know that Broadway.com isnt too reliable, but I hope it is.
re: Sarah Uriarte Berry#27
Posted: 7/15/04 at 5:09pmI saw Sarah as Belle in Beauty and the Beast w/Jeff McCarthy
re: Sarah Uriarte Berry#28
Posted: 7/15/04 at 5:15pmI saw Sarah as Belle (and loved her), then as Eponine (I didn't like her the first time I saw her, but she grew on me), and as Nicola (where I loved her once again.) She really is a talented woman.

Posted: 7/15/04 at 7:40pmyeah sally is a good role. i haven't seen her in anything, but i saw pics of her and she grew on me! i love that girl! anyone have sound clips?
re: Sarah Uriarte Berry#31
Posted: 7/15/04 at 8:39pmI wasn't a fan of her Eponine- can't remember why (it's been 7 years), but I remember it really irked me. She was a very good Belle, though. One of the prettiest, by far, and her voice matched the role perfectly.

Posted: 7/16/04 at 12:21amSpeaking of La Jolla Millie, why was Erin Dilly fired?
re: Sarah Uriarte Berry#33
Posted: 7/16/04 at 12:22amI think she just wasn't really working out for the role the way that they hoped. I dunno there could have been more to it. I read about it a while ago...

Posted: 7/16/04 at 7:15amTechnically she wasn't fired...she had an "itch in her throat" for a couple of days and Sutton stepped into the role...when she came back I guess she bowed out agreeably when the director and producers realized they wanted Sutton. again heresay from a castmember from La Jolla.

Sarah is supposedly cast in Little Women, as I was told. But that's not confirmed. I was working with Rob Meffe, Little Women's musical director last weekend and we were discussing casting, try outs, etc.
Here's a link to the rest of the casting.

Posted: 7/16/04 at 12:05pmIt says in that article that Amy Rutberg will be Meg. Was that just a rumor that isnt true?

Sarah is fine.
It's her husband that you have to watch out for.

Posted: 7/18/04 at 5:09amI don't know...you said that sarah is fine but it was her husband we had to watch out for...what did you mean by that? I'm confused.

And exactly what does Sarah's husband or his ego have to do with her being considered for "Little Women"?.
Do we really need to go there?

Posted: 7/18/04 at 9:57pmI feel your pain about hunter, but she really is talented. Jen is very sweet as well. I work at the Music circus where Sarah is playing Laurie in Oklahoma. I was so excited when I heard they would both be in it. I saw taboo and now love sarah. I spoke with her mom on the phone about tickets and she is soooooo proud of her daughter. It was so sweet.
