Does anyone know if she is ever, ever, ever scheduled to go on?
I REALLY hope so!
If it goes on long enough Tracie has to take a vacation sometime. I would love to see the fabulous Ms. Berry take on Judy Garland. I couldn't find a website for her.

That shows gonna run for YEARS!
BUMP.
Does anyone know if Sarah ever went (or will go) on for Judy Garland? Or did Tracie have a perfect attendance (which she usually does)?

Sarah has not gone on and will most likely not get a chance to go on, since the show is closing on August 19. It's a shame, because I think Sarah would have been really great in this role, but I'm looking forward to her future projects. Tracie Bennett's attendance has been stellar, both in London and on Broadway.
Incredible. Not one performance missed in two and a half years.
^ I know I couldn't do it. More power to her! We need more people like her out there.

Bumping to see if anyone heard if she's getting a shot!
Petal, Carol Channing in Dolly's got her beat by miles. But I agree. Tracie's wonderful.
Slightly off topic...but I always wondered how Sarah was in NEXT TO NORMAL. She covered for Jessica Phillips (during Ripley's vacation. Sarah is married to Michael Berry (Dan and Doc u/s).
that SUB has always been one of my faves, all the way back to the CAROUSEL first National tour of the National Theatre production! woman is a powerhouse singer/actress and NICE to boot...stop bogarting all the good genes...i too look forward to her next project!

Wow. What an amazing track record for Tracie Bennett. She's nothing short of incredible in the show and her work ethic is remarkable. Good for her!
Too bad more leading ladies don't have her "the show must go on" attitude. I've paid top dollar to see too many understudies the past few years in for Tony winners/nominees people raved about and I was really looking forward to seeing. As for Sarah, she's great. I saw her in Guys and Dolls in San Jose in 2007 and she did a great job. But in End of the Rainbow, Tracie's portrayal of Garland IS the show. Why in heaven's name would someone want to see her understudy in a show like that?
I saw Tracie do the show during its London production, and wondered how she could possibly make it to the end of that run doing such a ridiculously intense and volatile performance every night. She ACTS singing out her voice in every show. The fact that she came to Broadway and STILL never missed a performance is sort of astonishing.
Guess not.
