AGREED! the chad kimball and montego glover ones the other month werent really charactures.
The Asian guys on the street could prob do a better job

They've got to go out and find that young artist who posted a caricature of Kelli O'Hara and Matthew Morrison in a thread online here once.
It was sensational. That's the kind of artist they need.
I hate caricatures that are too pretty rather than witty.

Posted: 6/3/11 at 12:37pmI can't tell you the number of times I've peeked at one of those artists on the street's work and they NEVER resemble the person being drawn. Another big gyp that should go the way of the street vendors. Streets are too crowded as it is -- get them the hell off of them.

The portrait artists on the street in Chiang Mai in Thailand are excellent.
One guy was even using software to "paint" a portrait of a couple on his computer that could be sent to them as an e-file.
Everyone gathered to see it in progress as it was excellent.
Even elephants can paint paintings in Thailand.
