I know this skit is several years old, but I'm just now seeing it and figure it would give any Broadway lover a laugh...

“It’s the Fiddler on the Roof, he just jumped” I laughed so hard when this originally aired and was so happy to see it again tonight! Thank you so much!

Some of this is almost prophetic haha. They did revive Miss Saigon. And charging 150/ticket isn't that crazy right now

"We can put on a big show. With lavish costumes and huge expensive sets. We'll charge like $150 a ticket."
I'd say that was a description of Moulin Rouge but the tickets cost more.

I remember when this first aired and some people thought NPH would be great as Mark... someone had to tell 'em...
Always love seeing this sketch. I LOL when Jason says the Tommy Tune line and all the actors suddenly comprehend what he’s saying.

"No one on Broadway is racist. We all are accepting of all people. Yes, you, from The Color Purple." ![]()
Also, I love the references to "For Good" in Elphaba's dialogue - "I have very limited job options. I mean, just look at me."

HA! I don’t watch SNL but I know this aired while I was in college and my theory professor showed it for some reason and I’d never laughed so hard up til that point! Not to mention for the longest time, you couldn’t find an official video of this skit pretty much anywhere on the internet....so glad it’s on the vintage SNL video line!
