Saycon or Kristy (Standby/Understudy situation)

I have tickets to Wicked on Friday, May 20th at 8:00pm. I really want to see Shoshana Bean's interpretation since I saw Idina last year. However, if Shoshana is out on the 20th, who will I see? How does it work? Who gets priority? Also - what is everyone's opinion on how likely it is that JLT will be there on the 20th at 8 seeing as she is done of the 29th? Thanks.

Kristy isn't in the BW production anymore. She'll be the standby in the Chicago sit-down. So if Shoshana isn't there, you'll see Saycon. I assume JLT will be there unless she's sick.

I didnt think Kristy was in the BW production still either... but her name/bio are still there and she's listed as the understudy...

i wonder when they'll take that out?

I think Kristy leaves the Broadway production on the 15th of May. But, if Shoshana happens to be out you'll probably see Saycon.

yes. Kristy Cates is still in the broadway company and she DOES leave on May 15th.

It's doubtful Shoshana will be out unless she's sick. Being so close to JLT's last.

I'm pretty sure Kristy is still in it because I saw the show yesterday and I thought that I saw her...

Ok, my mistake. So Kristy still is in it but she'll leave on May 15.

Yeah I think shes still there. The sit down doesn't start until June 24 or something like that so I don't think she'd leave this early.

yes. she DEF is still there and leaves on May 15th. I was speaking with Kristy after she gave AN AMAZING performance of Defying Gravity at Tom D'Angora's "Diva's I've Done", (a show, which by the way if you havn't seen, you should), She told me she will be leaving the broadway production on May 15th, to be the standby in Chicago. I hope this clears everything up!!!

if there is an understudy you would enjoy seeing it would be saycon.
i have known her since her aida days and this girl is amazing...simply amazing.
kristy has such a wonderfully beautiful voice. so trained and so well down pat that she well no one holds a candle to her....
but saycon bursts when she goes on. comes out of a shell/
sho will be on like others have said unless sudden things happen or she is sick.
again i am bias to both sho and saycon...but do have nothing to say about kristy other than gooooood things
if you do see any understudy they will be amazing
; either of them are amazing so don't stress
