Just curious (couldn't resist, lol) .... Is it better to get front mezzanine or side orchestra at the Ethel Barrymore? They are the same price right now on Today Tix $119

For Curious, definitely mezz. You get the best view of all the projections/special effects from there.
I almost always sit in the orchestra at every show I go to, but I opted for front mezzanine for Curious. Best seating decision I ever made. The show is brilliant, and as strange as it sounds, you'll be able to soak it in even more if you're up there as opposed to at level with the stage. Go for the mezz.

I'd go with the front mezzanine to take it all in and see the drawings on the floor. But I sat in the orchestra and wasn't sorry either. You'll be fine either way!

Thanks everyone. I'm waiting until later in the day to buy tickets in order to see if I'll get the Fun Home lottery tickets. Hope I don't wait too long, lol! My flight doesn't land until 3:55, and I don't want to buy ticket until I for sure am walking out of terminal in Newark. Good to know about projections on the floor. The staging is supposed to be very good as well as I want to see Alex perform before he leaves.

He has done six performances a week since the show opened. This has been well documented and a couple of people acknowledged it in your earlier post. It's a very demanding role, which you will see if and when you see the show. If you see it tonight, you will see Taylor Trensch, who has been Alex's alternate all along.

Incredibly demanding role. His alternate has always done 1 show a week. Most people here say he's every bit as good as Sharp and some even like Trensch better.

So I wonder if I should see Kelli Ohara in King and I or the the other guy in Curious?
Honestly, you can't go wrong with either those chooices. PERSONALLY? I'd go with Curious. It's unique and new.
If it factors into your plans, Kelli is out this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

If you're in town for a few days I'd see Kelli in the King and I tonight and Alex in Curious Incident tomorrow night!

But understudy is not replacing Alex Sharp in September? Broadway.com had article that Tyler Lea is replacing him. Anyone know anything about him? Planning on seeing "Curious" in October.
I believe I read that Taylor is leaves by about the same time as Alex.
Alex leaves the 13th and Taylor's last show is the matinee on the 12th. Taylor does the Wednesday evenings and the Saturday matinees.
