I'm feeling guilty because I have a retail job that means I have to leave my house. Granted, there & buying food are the only places I've been in 2 weeks. So, it's not like I'm running around doing fun things. Actually, work has been nuts because we have been running out of so many cleaning items. This is even after limiting how many people can buy. I guess self care is important here as well though because people are crazy and you never know what they are going to do.
I find it fun to watch Antenna tv & Buzzr, if you get premium cable. I love many of the reruns of sitcoms from the 1980s. Plus they air That Girl right now. And you never know who you will see either starring or guest starring on these shows.
My favorite shows on Buzzr are Supermarket Sweep, Press Your Luck, Classic Concentration, and Split Second. Good mindless shows to stop thinking about the news.

We redid our workout room and we’re loving it right now.
I’ve done a little detailing of my car and still have a lot more to do.
Keeping up with friends/family via phone instead of our usual texts, lol.
We finally got around to starting Schitt’s Creek on Netflix and that’s been just what we’ve needed right now!

Great thread Miles!
I’ve struggled with self care, mainly going to pot for my “self care” although today, after several days of trying, I’m finally making it come to an end. Going to turn on One Man Two Guvnors and enjoy my afternoon!

Posted: 4/3/20 at 1:12pmMike - No Problem! Hope it’s helpful. I have been “coping” by watching lots of older movies (Judy, Barbra, and Madonna, oh my!). I’ve almost made it through all of Barbra’s better filmography. Also, watching my usual tv shows plus listening to vinyl. And eating way too much plus wine. Limiting myself to two bottles of wine per week. Picked up my online pick-up drive-up order on Tuesday and I’m already out of wine. LOL. At least I did order healthier food this week so no ice cream or crackers. Instead, it’s gonna be salmon and asparagus again tonight.

Oh that sounds yummy!
I have my M&Ms ready, waiting for the Pinot to chill a bit more, getting dressed up and acting as if I am attending a matinee of One Man Two Guvnors. Yes... adults can play dress up too! Especially now! Got my bow tie and all :)
This thread is super helpful though, great idea! Cooking a marsala tonight as I splurged a little on my last trip to the store, never tried making a marsala so this should be interesting. Oddly, I've lost a lot of weight during this time! Without smoking I think that will be changing however.

I found this virtual tour that is a bit different. Kind of fun for anyone looking for music-related content.

For me, I've been watching shows on Broadwayhd, reading more, listening to records from my record player, and preparing for my dream high school
I've been watching lots of stuff on Broadwayhd, mostly I've been watching the show that goes wrong. I saw the play that goes wrong a year ago, and god, it was the funniest thing ever. I've also been rewatching falsettos alot. It just is such an amazing show
I've been trying to read more lately. I'm an avid reader, but I haven't actually fully read a book on quite a bit. I finished the outsiders a few days ago, and just started on to kill a mockingbird. I honestly am more Happy reading. It distracts me from all the YouTube I watch.
I've been trying to listen to more of my records, especially the musical ones. I have lots of older musical records (west side story, the wiz, unsinkable Molly brown, hello dolly, and a few others) and I really want to listen to more of them
In my city (a pretty big city) there's this art high school. I heard about a year ago, and have been sooooo interested in it. I've been trying to do as much as I can to prepare for getting into this school
Bonus; 1. I also have been doing online classes for my local theatre. Those have been very fun.
2. I developed a skincare routine! It isn't much, but I want to keep my skin healthy and shiny
