Serendipity Sundae(s) shelf life?

I know that Serendipity 3 only offers their Broadway themed specialty sundaes for a limited time after an unveiling. Does anyone know approximately what kind of time frame of days or weeks?

I'm bummed I missed out on the Xanadu sundae last year.

The Xanadu sundaes were cute. The Toxic Avenger one is vile, simply because it looks like DeGarmo got covered in green food coloring trying to eat it. Green hands, clothes, and tongue are not an enjoyable dessert for me. I mean couldn't they just use mint icecream or something. The presentation is a mess.

Mind you, everything at serendipity is a mess, hence their run-in with the health inspector earlier this year.

As for the general quality of the food and the menu...I came upon a realisation while reading this thread that the only person capable of creating such bland and overcomplicated assaults on simple diner fare is none other than everyone's least favourite food network ho Scamdra...er...Sandra Lee. Anyone see her there viciously taking notes or giving hints to the rude waitstaff?

I happen to love Serendipity but yes the Toxic sunday looks VERY messy.

I think the Xanadu sundae looks adorable. I always thought Serendipity had amazing black bean burgers, but I never go cause I can't stand the screaming children.

The Toxic Avenger sundae looks disgusting.

What exactly is in the Toxic Avenger sundae? I went on the Serendipity website, but they don't have any information about the specialty sundaes. How much do they cost?

I think the Toxic Avenger sundae will go over well with kids and teenagers. It looks like a mixture of vanilla ice cream and green dyed whipped cream. There might be some dyed caramel or chocolate sauce at the bottom. I'm not sure what the stringy things are, maybe some sort of gummy worm type thing?

I'd probably try it once because I'm sure it tastes good but I'd hate spending the whole day with green fingers if I managed to get some on my hands.
