Posted: 9/6/04 at 10:06pmAs I said like 5 times in different threads (if you kindly check the archives of the board with the search option, you will find lot's of seussical threads, the last, one week ago...) I don't like. I hate the Dr. Seuss world and the music it's not great (to me, of course.)

Posted: 9/6/04 at 10:11pmWhen you are a young actor, try out for everything. Later on you can be picky, but be involved in everything you can. You need that early experience even with school productions.

I personally love it.
Get the cast recording. It's Janine LaManna belting. It's worth it!

One question: What part did Ann Harada play?

Posted: 9/6/04 at 10:13pmGo to Amazon.com buy the frikin' CD and then if you don't like it, just resell it, that's what it's there for...
re: Seussical?#12
Posted: 9/6/04 at 10:13pmAnn Harada was ensemble and the court marshall. she understudied the Mayor's Wife. I had the privelage of seeing her as the mayor's wife.

"I dunno, I can't decide for you. You like Wicked, your taste is "out there"... "
And I also like MANY other musicals. It's called being open-minded. All I asked was for some opinions.

Sheesh, there's no need for bickering here. =D
OhSoWicked, I envy you. I'd love a chance to do a show like this (not that there are any roles in it for me). "Seussical" is a pretty lighthearted (for the most part) show with a handful of GORGEOUS numbers. Audition for it and see what you get. I think you'll have a blast with this show. :)
