Are the similarities between "Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats" and "Oh The Thinks You Can Think" intentional? Or is this a strange circumstance where someone copies ALW, and not the other way around...
Other than both being uptempo opening numbers in 4/4, I don't see the similarities. Different songs about different things.

And the whole "are you [fill in blank]" and "think of [fill in blank]" repetition. Maybe I was looking too closely into it...
They both said either "ah" or "ooh" at that point in the song. I can name 384272237 other songs that have that similarity. And they're not the only two songs to use repition either.
I'd be the first to say it if I did, but I really don't hear any similarities in the music.
