She-Ra: Princess of Power - The New Wave Musical Adventure

Dearest ladies and gentlemen of the theatre community:

I just wanted to take a moment to let you all know that work has begun on a new musical based on the 1980s animated TV show SHE-RA: PRINCESS OF POWER...sounds crazy, no? Well, it's going to use new wave music from the '80s and promises to be all camp! The creators will be revealing some of the new wave songs in the show and a glimpse into the storyline very soon!

[WARNING: Those born after 1989 may or may not have any clue who She-Ra or what new wave music are...but this show is sure to be fun for you guys anyway!]

Obviously Laura Benanti is going to be Glimmer and Evil-Lyn will be Patti (the resemblance is stunning)

We definitely have considered "I Have the Power" as well as the She-Ra theme music (from the opening sequence). It all depends, but we shall see soon enough.

Glimmer and Swift Wind/Spirit will definitely be characters. Also expect Bow, Kowl, Madame Razz, Hordak, Catra, Shadow Weaver, Mantenna, and others.

Evil-Lyn is a He-Man character, but she does bear a striking resembling to LuPone. Perhaps a guest appearance is in order.

Oh, it's JUST going to be She-Ra characters? What about poor Adam, er He-Man? He'll be PISSED if he can't be in it. He and Man-At-Arms will storm the theater to seek revenge.

Definitely, he is She-Ra's brother. Flutterina was awesome though. She can fly. She was my favorite action figure, along with Glimmer.
