I've listened to this a couple of times now and I think it's pretty cool to hear women singing these songs, especially since they can rely a lot on the actors having a good "rock scream".  I don't think these would replace any of the male versions that I listen to, but I'm definitely interested in a volume 2.

Morgan James singing Gethsemane is a particular standout for me, and something about Orfeh's version of Pilate's Dream just clicks really well with me.

I agree on Orphe, and Cynthia Erivo was also fantastic, but I must admit I was a little underwhelmed by Shoshana

I’m enjoying this new release, especially Morgan James’s Gethsemane. Agreed about Shoshana, not my fav track. A lot of octave switching, and not in a good way. Cynthia sounds great. Looking forward to Vol 2!

Wow, I thought two volumes was all we were getting so this is actually quit exciting to see!
